More than a week after installing the system, we are seeing positive results. We are noticing a high raise in temperature as expected. The home's existing hot water tank is not having to do as much work to produce a heat of 140 degrees, therefore the system is running as planned. I am excited to see the energy and cost savings for the future!
Hey Brit,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, WOW, your project looks like it is going just great. Thats fantastic that the system is up and running and working well to boot. So I was thinking now that you have figured this system of running the pipes through the fireplace, you might also be able to look into developing a more efficient wood burning stove. Here is an arcticle about creating just that!
Hope it hepls.
